I am using Griffith since several months and I use FilmAffinity (ES) like import plugin.
Well! The "problem" is that, from time to time, this plugin fails in any (or several) of its fields.
And my doubt is:
Are these failures caused by a bug in the plugin or they are intentional from the FilmAffinity website developers?
Does this occur also in other sites (such as IMDb)?

bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/griffith/+bug/525869

Griffith grabs all information from the HTML code of the different web sites. It uses some search strings for that.
If the website developers change their website the search strings have to corrected.
So it can and will happen from time to time.

Ok, thanks for the answer.
But your opinion, like Griffith developer, is that these changes are intentional to hinder the use of its website for data import. I ask this because I've never found that those changes are reflected in the appearance of the page, they are always internal.
This high frequency of changes in FilmAffinity web site, is happening in all providers or only this?

We have the same problem with most of the other providers. But on the other hand there a small number of pages
which doesn't change it's code for severall years. All other movie manager tools have the same problem.
