First of all, I want to say that this is the best software I've ever seen \o/

but the problem is that when I open Griffith, all my movies disappeared... but I have them all backuped in a folder. I think that it happened because I deleted this backup folder and copied to another one, but I still have the infos  Huh

How can I get my software with the informations back and why did it happened?

thx

Linux or Windows?

Did you do something with griffith directory (~/.griffith or My Documents/griffith)?

Did you use backup function[1] or just copied griffith's directory?

[1] You can use restore function if so

It's Windows

well, I cannot say if I changed the directory... I just deleted the backup files in My Documents folder and created another backup folder in my desktop... but I think the software keeps the infos even if I don't buckup, ain't it?

but I still have the infos in a folder but I just can't restore them: "can't read backup file"  Embarrassed

My documents\griffith is not a backup! It's a place where Griffith keeps it's data. Don't delete it. Just move back all files to that location and it will work again. What infos are you talking about?

I moved back but nothing happened  Undecided anyway, I'll write all the infos back to the software

one question: I always have to make a backup not to lose my infos?

Backups are for situations when you (or we Wink) accidentally change/delete/broke your data directory.
