When picking up the layer from the drop down list (Edit a film, tab Technical information), we have so far this choice:
- N/A
- Single side, single layer
- Single side, dual layer
- Dual side, single layer
- Dual side, single layer
I would like to suggest to use the following :
- N/A
- DVD 5 - Single side, single layer
- DVD 9 - Single side, dual layer
- DVD 10 - Dual side, single layer
- DVD 14 - Dual side, mixed layers
- DVD 18 - Dual side, dual layer
DVD 5, 9 etc. is often indicated on the DVD case, I think it is easier if this reference is used.
PS : DVD 14, though very rare, is technically possible (one side single layer, the other side dual layer). Never saw one.
