When picking up the layer from the drop down list (Edit a film, tab Technical information), we have so far this choice:
  • N/A
  • Single side, single layer
  • Single side, dual layer
  • Dual side, single layer
  • Dual side, single layer

I would like to suggest to use the following :
  • N/A
  • DVD 5 - Single side, single layer
  • DVD 9 - Single side, dual layer
  • DVD 10 - Dual side,  single layer
  • DVD 14 - Dual side, mixed layers
  • DVD 18 - Dual side, dual layer

DVD 5, 9 etc. is often indicated on the DVD case, I think it is easier if this reference is used.
PS : DVD 14, though very rare, is technically possible (one side single layer, the other side dual layer). Never saw one.

That seems like a resonable suggestion. I second it.
