Yes, we know (see bug #5685). It's because they started to use gziped encoded pages.

Does the plugin does a http/1.1 request?
When doing a HTTP/1.0 request to anidb.info, they return plain text pages. Maybe this can be somekind of a fix?

No, Python-urllib does HTTP/1.0 request

AnimeDB plugin is working again. Just `aptitude update && aptitiude upgrade` your system (if you have Debian-based distro and Griffith unstable repository in sources.list) or replace old PluginMovieAniDB.py with this one

I installed svn version, and still not working.
Started from konsole, error messages not occur.
Then i push "get from web" see dialog windows show:
searching, fetching data, fetching poster and dialog window updates and no information not occur(my search word dissapear). BTW i was searching "a" (with others words i have same behaviour).

Any ideas?

BTW i have problem with CSV export, because others applications (like gcfilms, tellico) don't understand it.

Fixed. I forgot to remove debug data from plugin's source (it was searching for "Lain" every time)

I have no problems with CSV export plugin (HTML export plugin's CSV template is still buggy). My OpenOffice Calc have no problem with importing data. Remember that fields are comma-separated and UTF8-encoded!

AniDB movie plugin now supports gziped data (SVN revision 433). Plugin available in SVN is not compatible with Griffith <= 0.6.2, here's compatible version.
