I will add some screenshots of upcoming Griffith v0.10 (we'll release few alpha/beta/rc versions before releasing final 0.10 as there are many changes inside)

first screenshot: new search filter window (did I mention that all posters are already stored in database? ~/.griffith/posters directory is just for cached files now)

PS if you want me to spend more time developing Griffith (and thus speed up Griffith 0.10 release) - CONTRIBUTE (by helping others on forum, writing documentation on wiki, fixing/adding movie/export/import plugins, donating few $, etc.)

I like and welcome the new fields (like DVD region, Camera and such) Smiley

The filter look awsome!

btw: Is there/Will there be a way to hide certain fields?
For example I never use the "codec" field because I only have DVDs so it would be cool if I could hide it.

I suppose it's too late already to give suggestions on the UI side and I'm not sure if these are even relevant.

But I find the way to display limits, volumes, collections & loans to take up too much space. Are they supposed to be dynamic (as filters are added on the bottom?) Scroll bars in the middle of the page is little messy in my opinion.

Could everything be presented in a big list and the "group" a certain filter affect is displayed at the start of the row or something?

Little bit like for example Thunderbirds message filter screen.

But thank you for making this excellent software, I'm also waiting for the next version for even more pleasant experience Smiley

0.10-beta1 released. Search window will be most probably changed in final 0.10, though.

yes, it will come. I'm just giving Windows users another reason to switch to Linux ;-)

(seriously: I dont have Windows, so you have to wait until Mike will find some time to create an installer)
