Hello,
I'd like to know what is the tab database for? And how to configure it to make it work?
Thanks in advance.

I use SQLite3 (internal). Thats the default and it works very well (for me).

J'utilise SQLite3 . C'est la valeur par défaut et ça fonctionne très bien (pour moi).

Ok thank you but what is it for exactly? Is it to publish our list of films on the web?
Ok merci, mais a quoi cela sert exactement? Est ce que c'est pour publier notre liste de films sur le web?

It stores the information about your movies. I.e., when you insert info about your dvd, Griffith writes that info to the database. When you later on retrieve then information about that movie from Griffith, it's read from the database.

Yes.

Its not only useful, without it, Griffith would be nonsense. Why have a list of your movies if it is always empty???

It's mandatory, Griffith does not work without database at all.

If the database is not configured well, griffith does not work, thats it?

Well yes, but it will work without any extra configuration. Just install Griffith and start using it.
