Hi,

when I open griffith.exe nothing happens.
I think this is because the profile is on a server with an unc-path

This is the content of the griffith.exe.log:

Hello,

how about that error?

Is it my fault? Is it a bug?

I'll try to reproduce it as soon as I will have any Windows around, is it working if your profile is on local server?

Is your profile named "as", do you have My documents folder inside?

Yes, it's named "as".

But the folder My Documents does not exist. It is a german windows. so this folder is called "Eigene Dateien". And this folder exists.

The problem is that Griffith tries to save config file in '\\orion\user\as' which is a directory. It should take My documents location from env. variable and create a "griffith" directory there...

Hi,

Isn't it the problem that Griffith tries to access this path

\\\\orion\\user\\as

instead of this

\\orion\\user\\as

?

if I cant help you by testing some things, please tell me and I will do so if I have the rights on this machine. Smiley

IMO - no,  they're just escape marks ('\' has special meaning in python)
